When I was a little girl, I loved to write outdoors. Throughout my childhood there were many trees that I enjoyed sitting under and writing. I have always enjoyed nature and being outside. For me, the outdoors is a the perfect place to write.
When I lived in the trailer park, I rarely went outside to write. I did most of my writing indoors, on my couch. I lived there for 16 years.
After the long move and not being able to write. I finally got a chance to enjoy my deck. I sat out there for hours writing. I only got a chance to write out there once. As the weather here has been damp and cold for some time.
I can not wait until the warm weather returns. So, I can finally really enjoy having a deck.

I love my deck but I didnt get to enjoy it this year, I was in with Tony most of the time, tending to him.
That often happens when you are a caregiver. I hope that he is doing better and you get to enjoy your deck next year.
For someone like you, I’m sure that closeness to nature is a source of energy, so it’s good to make the most of the opportunities.
Yes, there are people like that. They need the energy of nature to feel alive.
in the spring and fall when it is nice out, I write on my deck!
That is my plan. I have a Holly tree right in the middle of my yard. The only thing is there is a high right in front of me. I am not use to the sounds of it yet. In time, I am sure they will not as much of a distraction as they are now.
i find the rustling of the leaves, the sound of birds and the wind to be a relaxing concert when I write outdoors!
So happy for you. I spend a ton of time in my screen room.
It has always been a dream of mine to have my own little place outside where I can write and now I do. Thank-you
