I am a big fan of the Beatles. Their song Golden Slumbers have been a kind of theme throughout my life. St. Pepper was one of my favorite movies as a child. Golden Slumbers is a sad and touching song that I love. It was playing in the background when my sister left for college. When a good friend of mine passed, when I was 16, I could not help but listen to it. When my mother died, I listen to it over and over, again. I sang it to my dog when she passed away. It has also come to mean great spiritual growth in my life. The point when I laid to rest passed pain and part of my soul died to renew the soul Golden Slumbers is a wonderful song that has many different meanings to me. Throughout our lives there are many songs that have great meaning to us. For me, Golden Slumbers is one of those songs.
