Lawsuits against Bayer are now over 18,000

source

The number of US lawsuits against Bayer have risen to over 18,000, an increase of five thousand over the past three months.  The high amount of litigation is due to the weed killer known as Roundup that is manufactured by Monsanto.

Roundup has a chemical known as glyphosate.  Although glyphosate works great as a herbicide, Monsanto forgot to place a warning label on their product.  The problem is that scientists have concluded that glyphosate is a known carcinogen.

Hundreds of cases have been filed against Bayer after Bayer bought Monsanto last year for $63 billion (USD).  These lawsuits show that these users of Roundup were diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma.  Due to all of these lawsuits, Bayer’s market share has now dropped lower than the $63 billion used to buy Monsanto.

    • That is correct because the European Union makes it almost impossible for any European to win a lawsuit in Europe. That’s why there have not been any lawsuits against Bayer in Europe even though Monsanto is used everywhere in the continent.
