Create a Centerpiece

Do-it-yourself parties will likely involve do-it-yourself decorations. But if you keep these decorations to a minimum, as well as involving using a minimum of two-themed colors, then the overall décor will look quite nice and coordinated.

For starters, focus on creating a centerpiece for unique spaces. Make a couple of centerpieces, and place one on each table, mantle, coffee table, entryway, hallway, doorway, and patio. Make sure it has the same theme as well as the same colors.

Use themed cookie jars as a centerpiece, and place certain items inside.
