The checkers table was for sale at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant located at 730 North Lyford Road in Rockford, Illinois (Winnebago County). They didn’t mind if you sat down and played a game.

For those of you who don’t know, the Cracker Barrel Restaurants are a chain of restaurants that features American comfort food. They’re not expensive and the food is quite good. Each restaurant has a store attached to it which sells candy that are hard to find these days and less common brands of soda pop. They also carry toys, some clothing, music CDs and a variety of other things. They are also decorated with various antiques and signs advertising non-extant companies. These items are all genuine and not for sale. Each store features different items.

The photo was taken with a Nikon Coolpix P7700 camera and edited using Luminar 2018. I used the RAW Develop filter to raise the contrast and the clarity and then added the Accent-AI filter. I used the Tone filter to lower the SmartTone and added the Structure and Denoise filters. Then I used the HSL filter to alter the hue of the blue squares. This had to be done to make the black checkers stand out better.
