I do enjoy cooking and my food tastes fine. However, I can never get it to look even close to the picture. Yes, I am aware that they use all sorts of tricks to make things look better. The soup looks more chunky because they put marble in the bowl so the vegies show up. Still, that doesn’t make me feel any better about what I created that just does not look quite up to snuff.
So what do I if I am asked to bring something? I end up going to the bakery. It is not that it tastes better, but it looks better. All my friends tease me. I want someone to make a cookbook with how the food really looks, so those of us who can’t seem to get over it, have a cookbook that works for us.
Can you feel me?
I know you feel. I very seldom make something in my kitchen and bring it to a gathering. I’m always afraid people won’t eat it. I don’t know why I think this. Almost every time I brought something that I made I always went home with an empty dish. Nevertheless, most of the time I’d rather buy something from the store.
I share that same fear. People are interesting!
Delicious and tasty Lol.
Those are two great combinations, they don’t often happen together.
Look is important, but the taste is much more important!
I think you are probably right with that.
Nice I like it very good ok bye
I am glad you think so , bye.
If you give your work your best effort, then you will not have regrets.
Having no regrets is a very good idea.
What I did not know what the late George Halas who was the former football coach of the Chicago Bears made the comment. I can see why he has his nickname “Papa Bear” Halas.
It’s ok if it’s not perfect but I know what you are saying. 🙂
I should be used to not perfect, it rarely is.
lol, I feel ya. Those above look great too btw.
The colors seem very different to me.
