Pecan pie is one of the easiest pies ever to make. Its cheaper to make at home than to buy, a plus is no preservatives or dyes added.
If you have pecan trees that is another money saver, if not ask a neighbor who has pecans to pick them up on halves, its a win win, you get free pecans and make the owner happy with free labor.
Let Bake A Pie!
Preheat oven to 350°
3 eggs1 cup sugar1 cup corn syrup2 tablespoons butter1- teaspoon vanilla extract1 1/2 cups of pecans1 – deep dish pie crust
In a large mixing bowl add sugar, butter, vanilla and eggs, mix well.
Incorporate the corn syrup, stirring till mixed well.
Last stir in the pecans.

Wonderful pie. Pie with nuts is something most delicious I’ve been eating. Also, we like poppy pies.
I have never had a poppies pie.
I have made them many times. But if you find them on sale they are cheaper to buy, if you don’t have your own pecans. Love these pies.
That is true but homemade is so much better.
I love pecan pie, but my favorite is peach pie. Maybe post one about how you make peach pie. I would like to see if it is close to my mom’s peach pie. I may have to try your pecan pie recipe. Looks great!
I will do that! I love peach too.
Pecan pie is my second favorite pie all time (blueberry is my favorite). Looks fantastic!
My favorite is Pie. Yes anyone has me when they say pie, I am down for it.
