Chicago, Illinois (Lincoln Square neighborhood)
Panasonic DMC-FZ50
Gene’s Sausage Shop is located at 4750 North Lincoln Avenue in the Lincoln Square neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois.
Editing was done on the JPG using Luminar Flex 1.1. I used the Develop filter to increase the contrast, blacks and clarity, open up the shadows and reduce the highlights and whites. Then I added the Accent AI and Polarizing filters and used the Tone filter to increase the SmartTone. Next I used the Structure filter to sharpen the image and the HSL filter to raise the saturation in the greens and lower it in the reds.

A cow huh? Well, we have them here, but I have not seen one made of whatever this one is made of.
I’m not sure what it’s made of either. I did see something like this a few years ago in a little town called New Glarus, Wisconsin.
You always find the most interesting subjects and do amazing photography!
Thanks, Carol. It helps that there is a lot of interesting stuff around my house.
Beautiful photo , thanks for sharing
Thanks. I’m glad you liked it.
Beautiful photos i love to make that cow a beef steak lol
Now you’re making me hungry. Even a hamburger would be great.
Very nice photo and I am sure the sausages are great
I don’t know if I’ve ever actually had any of their sausages. My wife likes the place because they carry a special kind of ham which she loves.
