They are there
stretching away from us
reaching to something
we never see
would we understand if we did, see?
To see
to be seen
to have seen
to know.
I am struggling
to come up for air.
To rise
and in rising
to again
crest the beginning
the part
that overwhelming
pushes me down.

extend a hand?
