Okay, this one is simply fun. I’ll admit that I’m not a fan of all these songs. In fact, I dislike some of them. However, some songs are strongly associated in our minds with certain performers and it can be a bit of a shock to find out that those associated performers were not the artists that originally recorded the songs. In other words, the superstars sometimes merely copied the work of other performers. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did. number 2 surprised me. Any of these surprise you?
This is some thing really i didn’t know.
You definitely aren’t alone.
I’ll tell you I am a child that is mostly lost in the oldies and except for The Greatest Love of All I really don’t know any of the other songs.
I’m so into music that I’ve heard them all, though I don’t like them all. I love Greatest Love but didn’t previously know that Dolly made a hit on it before Whitney ever sang it.
The one Dolly Parton sang and Whitney Houston covered was I Will Always Love You Dolly did the song in the musical The Little Whorhouse in Texas with Dolly Parton, Burt Reynolds, and Jim Nabors it is one wild and funny musical which is really worth watching it also include Dom DeLuise among others
Dolly was already a superstar when Whitney was just starting out. Her bubbly personality is genuine, too.
