    • 5/9 is a good score. Sade, who is featured on the quiz cover image, has been a huge global pop R and B star since the late 1980s with many best selling US/UK hits (singles/albums) and many million-dollar sell-out stadium tours. Thanks for playing. ?

    • Thanks for your compliment. ? Glad you liked the quiz. Your 4/9 is good/just below than average. You are quite right, Sade, who is featured on the quiz cover image is a beauty. Cheers?

    • These pop songs are not old in any way – they are mainly from popular artists of the 1990s (En Vogue; Seal & Terrence Trent D’Arby) 1980s (Sade; Prince; Michael Jackson); and 1970s (Minnie Ripperton; Bad Company; Led Zeppellin; etc). Sorry. But songs by Justin, Selena, Katy, Miley, Drake, Rihanna are all certainly not of this top calibre of music. You may need to catch up on quality timeless music. Many thanks for playing.

  1. 2/10 – which doesn’t surprise me! I credit the Gershwins for making “Summertime” well known, rather than Janis Joplin, who is only one of many to have done a cover version of this classic number.

    • Quite right about Gershwins and “Summertime”; and Janis Joplin. But most young people into pop & rock do not know about the Gershwins. Anyway, hope you learnt something new. Many thanks for playing. ?
