“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” when it was released earlier this month was expected to be a huge blockbuster hit for Disney Studios but if you would have told me that would surpass “Beauty And The Beast” and “Wonder Woman” as the top grossing film of 2017, I would have told you “Nice dream you are having.”
What an amazing fact that “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” was released earlier in December while “Beauty And The Beast” which was released in March 17, 2017 and “Wonder Woman” was released in theaters on June 2, 2017.
“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” has grossed over $1 billion dollars in a worldwide market in theaters in just two over two weeks in the 2017 calendar year which means that the fan base of the “Star Wars” franchise has an extremely large fan base since the first “Star Wars” movie was released in 1977.
It is safe to say that the fans of the “Star Wars” franchise have assisted the Disney Studios to have one of their best years on record in terms of having a hit movie franchise that is 40 years of age and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
I guess the majority of Star Wars like science fiction movies these days since the characters of Star Wars can do amazing feats that us mere mortals can only dream of doing here on Earth.
It is crazy you could not even get near the movie theater when it first came out. There was a waiting list to buy tickets for this movie.
Yeah, this is what I heard last night while watching the countdown to 2018. I havent seen the movie yet. I watched I Tonya, which was funny. I might see this movie this week, just to see what happens in this episode.
I am just saying that Star Wars is one of the most popular movie franchises that 40 years and counting.
Indeed, Star wars fans are great supporters..After the success of The Force Awakens, here comes another blockbuster grossing film from George Lucas that made jit worldwide.. 🙂
I heard that even the people at Wordgirl Ventures (WG Ventures) powers that be are huge Star Wars and Star Trek fans while I am a fan of the Rocky Balboa/Creed movies.
