Song of the Day: June 16th, 2017

I decided that I would share my favorite songs in a series called “Song of the Day”.  I don’t know if I will post in the series every single day, but I will as often as I can. Maybe you’ll find some songs you like in this series. If you want, you can let me know what your song of the day would be.

For the first song I chose “Still Into You” by Paramore.  

The song came out in March, 2014 on their album Paramore. The band is considered to be alternative and/or indie.

I like the song mostly because Hayley Williams has an amazing voice.  I heard her sing this song acapella in a video on YouTube and it was so cool.

In researching the song, I found it is about Hayley’s relationship with her boyfriend. She wrote it to be a happy love song, but not sappy.

I think it is a fun love song rather than being sappy. There are definitely some sappy love songs out there, and this is far from that.
