My third book review here! Ok, this was last months book club book. I had read through it quickly, about three days. It was captivating to say the least.
It’s about families with special needs children. Since I had a special needs child, I found it interesting. Different approaches to treating the children were addressed by eliminating all outside distraction. The families sold everything they owned and moved into an old camp. They had no cell phones or any computers. They learned to really camp and communicate with each other on a more intimate level.
The book ends with a twist that I really did not see coming! I really liked this book and strongly suggest that others with similar experiences should read this too.
Sounds like a very interesting book, I hope I’ll be able to find it!
