I’ve never done any “selfies”. Well, not really …
… but I have constructed some thanks to digital photography and my computer and its software.
Recent pondering about genetically modified organisms and the more recent gene editing experiments caused me to wonder about the intelligence involved. Did no one read H. G. Wells’ book or see any of the many film adaptations of “The Island of Dr. Moreau”?
I mean this stuff never works out well in the end. Right?
No, it never does work out. It ends with some lucky few narrowly escaping in a boat from exploding islands and burning buildings while monstrous creations and mad scientists face agonizing death.
It never ends well. Not in the book, not in any of the films, … I mean what are we thinking?
Happy Weekend and as I totally missed Friday…I just don’t know where it went…Mo made me smile 🙂 The duck is a bit scary…
Really my favorite is the deer infant of the Port Townsend City Hall. Mo is at the National Heirloom Expo … my cat has been subjected to many many digital manipulations. I’m a bit of a nerd about the old B&W science fiction and I have many more of these and other series. My most notorious selfie ever was after the old Vincent Price “The Fly”. I liked it but some people winced at the image or said “ewww”. Cheers. Have a good weekend. 🙂
Wow, can’t edit comments. Meant to say “…. in front of the Port Townsend …” Weird, I probably left out a space and then spellcheck … I usually have that turned off.
Interesting!
I know it’s unfair but I can’t help thinking about old B & W fiction films while trying to decide if actual science is a good idea. LOL
Good morning happy friday, humanity is crazy, instead of worrying about other important things, I’m keeping the cat’s head
That’s my cat “Mo Yung” – Mo for short. — Happy Friday to you also. Cheers!
