Interpol president Meng Hongwei September 25 departed from his head office in Lyon, France, France. Since September 25, Meng Hongwei has not been contacted with anyone including the family. The wife of Interpol President Meng Hongwei filed a complaint to the Leon Police regarding his husband’s disappearance.However, the French authorities say it is clear from the travel documents that Meng Hongwei departed from France.
On the other hand, Hong Kong’s newspaper ‘South China Morning Post’ has claimed the sources, 64-year-old Interpol head Meng Hongwei has been detained for ‘inquiry’ in China. However, it is unclear that for what kind of inquiry he has been kept in custody.
Senior officials of the Communist Party of China, refused to comment on any type of comments on Interpol’s head Meng Hongwei and at Government level is not being denied or verified.

The statement released today by Interpol, Interpol is aware of the missing Mr Meng Hongwei, It is a matter between France and China’s government, in which General Secretary help is also include.
Ming Hangzhou, A China Citizen , took over responsibilities as the head of the International Police Agency in November 2016. He was also the senior leader of China’s ruling party Communist Party and China’s defense minister. He was also a police officer besides a politician who spent 40 years in the fields of crime, justice and police.
