With the 4th of July only a few weeks away, I thought I would share a video I shot 6 years ago during the 4th of July celebration. It is a video of the finale during the fireworks show.
My town goes all out for the 4th of July. The whole celebration starts out on June 30th with a “Christmas in July” breakfast. That day food booths open (and stay open through the 4th). Our town has a big square with a park, and a gazebo where people can perform concerts. Food booths are set up about halfway around the square (so there are probably around 15 different booths). In the evening there are concerts going on.
The night of the 30th the celebration is kicked off with a firework show. It’s always amazing, especially the ending. I should catch the whole show sometime, but I only had space on my camera to catch the finale. It’s so cool though!
Does your town/city do anything like this? If you don’t live in the U.S.A do you have any holiday celebration with fireworks? I would love to hear about your traditions.
Very cool. We can sit in our front yard and see the Fireworks from Ft. Gorden
That’s awesome!
My town does not have such a holiday. Thank you for sharing
My pleasure!
