Didn’t we all enjoy the notorious Pitch Black?
The dark story of the unfortunate crew of the starship who falls down to a planet that when sunken into the darkness turns into a human Swedish table?
The main role in this move was given to an exceptional action movie actor, Vin Diesel, but the rest of the crew is also extremely talented and a pure pleasure to watch.
I appreciate a good blend of fiction and horror, and this is the best one I can recommend to anybody.
The movie I am talking about is called Pitch Black which lived to see a few sequels.
By the way, no matter how a critique and viewers approach to this or personal taste, I really enjoy all of them.
The first sequel was called The Chronicles of Riddick and it was made shortly after. I hardly could wait to see it.
But before that, there was something in between.
The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury 2004 was an animated science fiction film that supposed to serve as a bridge between these two.

Main actor and a lead features as a voice of the main character, I am not sure about the others, but I think that the cast is essentially the same.
I had no idea about this, but now I am in a blind pursuit to find it as soon as possible.
It was released as a three DVD set but I regret to say the animated feature wasn’t all I hoped it would be. It was directed by Peter Chung of Aeon Flux fame and explains what happens between the first and second movies (Dark Fury would be like 1.5 or something)
