Have small children, teach Sunday school, preschool or just want to do a small craft. Why not try your hand at making crafts out of antique glass insulators.
Antique glass insulators can be found at antique marts, flea markets, and estates sales. They are beautiful just by themselves, but they can be transformed into some really neat gifts.
You can use them as a flower holder, table decoration, bird feeder or string Christmas lights under each insulator and decorate your window sill. A fun and easy trick; is to place a dollar store battery operated tea light under one of the glass insulators and simply place it on your nightstand and use it as a nightlight.
Making homemade gifts is so much fun.
Love the look!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are beautiful by themselves and have such a history that goes along with them. Imagine, they were made for electric poles, they served a valuable purpose.
