Nigel Kennedy opens jubilee 50-th BEMUS(Belgrade Music Festival)

Nigel Kennedy, will hold a concert “From Bah to Gershwin” on October 10. at 20 h in the Sava Center, (Belgrade ,Serbia). Kennedy will perform with a chamber ensemble. Violinist has gained the reputation of one of the world’s leading virtuosos. He performed music of the widest repertoire – from classic composers to Hendrix – performed with legends such as Paul McCartney and Robert Plant, played for the British royal family and visited the world countless times in concert with leading world orchestras. He worked on the songs”Summertime”, “They Can not Take That Away From Me” and “Porgy and Bess” on the album “Kennedy Meets Gershwin” (2018), released on the 120th anniversary of Gershwin’s birth.

BEMUS will be held from 10 to 20 October. During the ten days in Belgrade concert halls and museums will feature prominent soloists, ansalms and choirs, and young artists will show their skills.
