Mayfield Ice Cream Sign at a Cracker Barrel Restaurant (2018-06-21 13-16-41a)
The Cracker Barrel Restaurant is located at 730 North Lyford Road in Rockford, Illinois. The signs are part of the decor.
Mayfield Dairy was founded in 1923 by T.B. Mayfield, Jr. Although it was purchased by Dean Foods in 1990, it is run by his grandson, Scottie Mayfield. I don’t think this sign is very old given its excellent condition.
The photo was taken with a Nikon Coolpix P7700 camera. Editing was done using ACDSee Ultimate 2019. I adjusted the lighting and increased the contrast, clarity and the saturation in the yellows. I used the Dehaze filter and then adjusted the levels.

You’d think so but no. The chain just collects signs and other Americana to decorate. All of their items are genuine. No reproductions.
