I’m so happy to have the next couple of days off from work. It gives me time to pick up some volunteer hours on both days, plus get some things done around my apartment that I have been lagging on. If you have been following my Virily posts you know that I just completed my 100 mile goal in support of Multiple Sclerosis. Well, for the month of July my charity is ‘Back On My Feet, which supports homeless individuals in areas such as educational support, job training, employment partnership and housing resources. I tend to gravitate more towards helping this population in many aspects other than just ‘Back On My Feet’ because seemingly homelessness is never ending, and it could happen to any human being. So it means a lot to me being able to support homeless individuals not just through volunteering, but through my workouts as well. On a side note these miles ran, cycled or walked will also get me ready for Rock ‘n’ Roll Chicago 5K, which will be this month. Just like in my previous posts expect several pictures of highlights on my route, and I hope you all enjoy.
