This Hydrangea photo was taken at my Dad’s last year. I had no idea it would be the last spring I spent with him. So thankful I have photo memories that are forever with me now. These blooms were so pretty against the green leaves. They were like little clusters of purple beauty all over the shrub. I have the same shrub, that grows to about seven feet tall each year, in my garden but with blue blooms. By the way (Kim), you cut these perennials all the way back at the end of the summer and they return the next year. A beautiful and very low maintenance addition to your garden.
You should not wait for other people to make special things happen. You have to create your own memories. ~ Heidi Klum

Such a regal color suits you well, milday…
I need to find one like this so I can take a cutting off of it. I love this color!! Your dad had great taste.
Yes he did Kim. I love this color. I miss so much about him.
Yes, unfortunately that never goes away. Mine has been gone for 20 years now, I was a daddy’s girl, and miss him so much. I know how you feel.
20 years is a long time. Sorry you know of the pain.
As always, this is perfect.
You are so kind, thank you.
