I grow wild mint in my screen room mostly for my cats. They eat it and seem to really enjoy it. They are both indoor cats so this is a little bit of outside brought inside for them. I also use it in my hot tea. It brings back great memories of drinking hot tea with mint and fresh honey with my dear Grandmother. She would pick wild mint in the woods behind her house, let it dry out, then bring it in for her tea. Forever memories.
You can see from the photo the mint is just starting to pop up. The cats have already found it. I will wait until it matures more before I use it in my tea. It smells wonderful. More of those little things in life to be enjoyed, at no extra charge.
