Deep Thoughts, Big Changes, Somber Thoughts

I woke up crying. Don’t remember the dream, and the tears were very real. Decided to see what was here. Opened it up to find out one person set boundaries about what is wanted on the posts and how to comment.  (I am the master of my own ship thanks.) Tough day ahead and none of it will be comforting and fun.

Opened another post to see sarcasm and meanness. I just closed it all and went to look for a little music. Perhaps that can change the course of the day.

#1 Randall King – “Another Bullet” (Official Music Video)

The good thing is when I go to Montana, home, the way of life is still there. It does still exist and family fights every day to keep it that way. It's worth saving.

#2 Bob Segar – Old Time Rock N’ Roll Lyrics

You can't fence me in. You can't choose my music for me. Wait, that's wrong. Let me rephrase that.

I won't let you fence me in. I won't let you choose my music. I won't allow mean and snide comments to others to dictate my soul. I have a bold and unique spirit and I am in charge of me.

I come with a long history and my forefathers fought so I could enjoy my freedoms. They made compromises so I could have my land and my way of life. I won't hand it over to anyone.

#3 Because I Have Been Given Much performed by the American Heritage Youth Chorus

I am reminded of the reason that I am here. There is much to be done.

#5 Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone) | BYU Noteworthy (Chris Tomlin A Cappella Cover)

Maybe now I have the courage to take on the day. It won't be easy and still, music has somehow settled me. Sometimes it's the words, or maybe the beat, or perhaps just optimistic thoughts.

You can't take this away from me. It is who I am.
