365 Photo Challenge – Day25

Well, on my Day-25, let me feature this swing…you see that in the picture, right?

Swing reminds me of childhood and so whenever I see one, I feel like being drawn into it and I would always try it, of course. Now, this one must have been made for kids. Few months back, I tried sitting on it but the rope gave way and I found my butt on the sand. My sister and cousins who were swimming in the sea saw me and laugh their lungs out. I laughed along with them. The swing does not belong to us, by the way. Lol!

Come now and enjoy the fun in this challenge but be sure to read the do’s and don’t’s here https://virily.com/art/365-photo-contest-day-1/.

  1. I cannot resist a swing as well. We often go to the park on Sunday Afternoons and I have to swing even if it is for only five minutes.

  2. On the rope swing-a friend of mine and I used to hike in this park that had trails that ran along a river and stream. He got on the rope and swung out twice. I tried it once and found myself in the middle of autumn in New Jersey, flat on my back at the bottom of 2 foot deep stream-there was no laughter than but now I am laughing remembering it. Great post.

    • Awww I can relate. I was a klutz when I was a kid and still just as klutz as an adult. Whenever we go out on adventure I am sure to have an incident so I am used to laughing at my own bloopers. If I let my clumsiness limit myself then I will never enjoy life. It is easier to learn to laugh at one’s self than to miss tasting how to live life.
