This is a sunset that got more intense as it got later. The colors grew richer as the light disappeared beneath the clouds. If you recognize the reeds, it’s from the same location as the first image, the first day of the challenge.
I like to frame the sunset with some form of nature. I wanted the viewer to be deep in the reeds looking out to a sunset full of possibilities. This was one of the more dramatic sunsets I’ve seen in a while and I really enjoyed experiencing the silence and spectacle of it.
The more you shoot and the more discipline to keep pushing past the mundane in forcing me to find the light. Today, I didn’t have my camera but light through a glass was amazing to me. This is when you start seeing the world differently, when light becomes a tangible goal and you find it in the simplest and most beautiful forms.
I know I am repeating myself, but your photos take my breaths way Steve!
And makes me have typos… takes my breath away!
Thank you-I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your kind words
Spoken like a true artist. Great tips and photography.
