The other side of the creation of my daughter. The reason for her project is the collection of pens. Project-based creativity is something that both my mother and my wife love. They each have areas in their houses devoted to the craft and creative projects they like to work on. My wife does her mosaics and other projects. My mother is a quilt maker. Both are very creative people!
Our dining room table gets used twice a year for meals. The rest of the time it has become our second craft table. I suspect that is what makes the difference between the perfect house you see in a magazine and a place you call home!
Anyone can photo challenge – you don’t even have to collect pens!
My Grandmother was a quilter. I am blessed to have some of her quilts.
Unless it is an airplane vacation, my kids take their grandma quilts with them on vacation!!!
Wow!! That collection…
Lol you mentioned she got them from people,
I guess she is pretty popular to be given so many 🙂
I can imagine how nice some of the colours go together!!
I think it is more that her friends give her pens. 🙂
Yeah, if she is not so lovable, no one would care to give her anything, no even her friends. 🙂
That I suspect is completely right. Thanks Ali!!!!!
talent is inherited, and the pencil collection is wonderful.
agreed – thanks for the thoughts Branka! you are spot on about talent being inherited!
Looks fantastic to me. What a collection!
Someday it may actually be done!
