Many are celebrating Memorial Day today. I am working. However, I watched the concert last evening on PBS to honor our servicemen and women and it was fabulous. I teared up some. I was once again reminded that freedom isn’t free. I am anxiously awaiting as I am working to hear them play taps as they gather to honor our veterans.
I hope those of you who are celebrating do it safely and mindfully. Have a fantastic day.
Last year we went to Fort McHenry in the Baltimore inner Harbor to celebrate and remember. We can never forget those that gave their all so that we could live.
It is a very important day in our home.
