I have to admit I really like Halloween. I don’t go trick or treating any more. I haven’t done so for ages. But I do like the decorations that people put up. Here are some of the ones from the last few years.

Halloween 2016 #4 (2016-10-22 14-33-33a)
I thought this was the best one I saw in 2016. The only thing I would have done differently would be to fill some of them with helium so they floated above the ground. It would also be great if they glowed in the dark. I saw this in the daytime, obviously, so maybe they do.

I'm thinking about getting one of these to keep the squirrels out of my tomato plants. What it really needs is a way to make it jump up when someone walks by and maybe some glowing eyes. If they could get it to jump towards the sidewalk, that would be perfect.

These are all cool. Seems not many people decorate or trick or treat like they used to.
It seems that, around us, there are fewer decorations than last year but still quite a lot. I did run into one guy who went nuts this year. The Skelton Arising! was one of his. I’ll post more.
