Christmas is for the young at heart no matter their chronological age. A great big mess and lots of boisterous fun is a big part  Christmas for me and my family. It is a joyous occasion and there is wrapping paper, favorite foods, games and love all around. There is no hurry to clean it up. It is all over the house all day. The day after Christmas is when we get serious about getting things back in order.

I believe part of it stems that we don’t want anyone to have to work on that day. Our meals are simple and prepared ahead so everyone can simply relax and enjoy the madness.
