With Christmas fast approaching, we are celebrating the birth of Jesus. Whilst I was at Church on Sunday, the 2nd candle was lit. I took a photo of this to show how they have decorated for Christmas. It’s difficult to see in the daylight, but the lights are on the tree, and the first 2 candles are alight. The white one in the centre will be lit last. This really brings home to me the real reason we celebrate Jesus. It’s unfortunate that the festive season is all about partying and drinking. When in reality, it is a time to take stock and remember our beloved friends and family and the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I wish you all on Virily a very Merry Christmas and a blessed and wonderful 2019. I hope you have a lovely day, however you celebrate. I shall be spending Christmas Day with my sister, brother-in-law and niece. I am lucky to have a wonderful family and I look forward to spending time with them.
