Many people are moving out of NYC because of the economic collapse, crime, homeless situation, police defunding, and street violence. New Yorkers are blaming their mayor, Deblasio.

That is my hometown and I can tell you because it is such a big city there has always been a danger. However, if you live right and know where to go and how to keep yourself safe it is a great city to live in. I grew up there and left that city behind in my 30s and all those years I never had a problem. Of course, times change and things do get worse and the city is very expensive now but one day I would love to take another look at it.
And that will be the reason why I leave Chicago.
