Bunion healing sandals and socks.

I have had bunions on my big toes for a long time. So when I saw ads for sandals that can help heal the bunions I bought a pair. But they came too late to wear duing the summer so i had the idea to alter socks so I can wear the sandals as house shoes during the winter!

Here iI am wearing the sandal with the altered sock.

Here is the sock after I altered it. I cut a bit in the top of the sock, making a separation between the big toe and the other toes.

I then bought more socks , cheap ones, and altered a bunch. This is how I am healing the bunion all year around!

The sandals were very uncomfortable the first day, but now with the socks they feel fine, and I hope that the bunions will get less prominent over time.

Do they work? I think they must be quite uncomfortable to wear, I don’t know. I don’t think I’d like socks that go inbetween my toes. I’m sorry to hear you’ve been suffering with bunions though, not nice at all. 🙁
