I am a transplanted person living in Central Louisiana and today and the next several days Tropical storm Barry will be bringing supposedly lots of rain and wind. I am told that this is Louisiana the weather can change in a blink of an eye. Here a wordplay poem on Tropical Storm.
T is for tropical, of course
R is for rising winds
O is for organized rains, maybe
P is for pressure
I is for intense at times,
C is for character name
A is for atmospheric conditions
L is for local happenings, if any
S is for storm
T is for thunder maybe with rain,
O is for operational mechanics; portable generators
R is for rising water
M is mayhem, maybe depends on how well prepared
So worried for those who didn’t take heed.

These storms can be very destructive so really wise to stay off their course
stay safe! Hurricanes (now a tropical storm) are nothing to make light of!
