The dangling
was more than
in seeing it
could be contained
but the thead
once pulled
so long it unraveled
time itself.
Is this the image of the universe
they asked
expecting a response
me holding
the unraveled thread
could not respond
Not from fear of
the pool of spreading darkness
but of uncertainly
Once unraveled
can you again spin the yarn?
Can you push back
the thread
until reraveled
the darkness stops
and the quiet spareds instead?
I liked him. I’m impressed.
wonderful post i like it
Thank you!
Wonderful poem, Doc!
Thanks Gina!!!
Love poetry, wish I was more talented in this area!
I wish I had more talent in the area as well. I love writing poetry, but I learned long ago I write it for me!
Beautiful words with interesting parables. Unique and feels like wrapping certain feelings.
It is Albert, it is a mix of two distinct feelings a personal reaction to an event of a few years ago. Very insightful of you to catch that!
Pouring thoughts and feelings on something memorable; fun or grief through writing like this is a lot of useful, right?
nice post
Thanks

Love this one Doc!
Thanks Carol, it comes from a dark time about ten years ago. I have a few poems in my book from back then, I don’t share them often.
