The Strawberry Picker Watercolor

We live in a strawberry growing area.  Every spring early the strawberry stands go up all around the city street intersections.  I was playing with some techniques in watercolor at the time of outlining in orange and using a cobalt blue for shadows.  It was interesting and surreal.  For this painting I went out to a strawberry field but the workers weren’t picking that day, so I took photos and used my daughter as a model.  It was a fun exercise in strange colors and outlining.
