Quetzalcoatl - WIP

Another candidate for the upcoming Dia de los Muertos / Day of the Dead shows, I am considering doing something a little different with this piece, perhaps even go in a pastel direction?

Too soon to really fret over any of the postwork yet

Since that particular god is a feathered serpent, I thought she should encorporate some plumage into her headdress

Her tops reminds me of when I was a teenager and when I jumped off the high-dive at a country club swimming pool area. My top went almost off and people were trying to let me know that my top went side-ways lol. No more bikinis for me at my age lol. You always laughed at this story bro lol.

it may not be historically accurate, because those types of outfits don’t preserve well
