Pasalamat Festival is a week-long activities of agri-business products display, scroll painting, street and grand arena dance competition, among others.
In this mural painting number 7, the artist art concept is geared towards the merry-makers or the dancers. These dancers are donned with colorful costumes made of indigenous materials and they are wearing a fanciful headdress.
At the background are some landmarks of our city like century old Church, the twin falls, the old muscovado sugarcane mill drawn by a carabao. You can also see several juicy sugarcanes and the three drums beat by the drumbeaters for the street dancers to gyrate to the sound of samba beat.
The artist’s mural beauty is enhanced by two flying blue butterflies.
Loved this one as much as the other murals.
You are too meticulous in comparing other murals. I like that kind of attitude.
