Mule Deer in the Rocky Mountains is an acrylic painting on a 22×28 inch stretched canvas. It was inspired mostly by another artist who had done a similar painting. I changed the scenery to look more like my home area in Southern Alberta, Canada.
This is the first time I have attempted to paint something so realistic but I am very happy with the outcome and am looking forward to doing more wildlife scenes from my part of the world.
I will soon post the process of making this painting with pictures and description.
