Paintdrips
This little lamb was so cute I couldn’t resist creating this collage of it. I think I may have used too much pink but it is incredibly difficult to find just the right colors for skin tones. I usually end up relying on the right values instead of the right hue. I begin with laying in the background and then the skin tones. Last I usually add words and phrases to enhance the narrative. Illustrations are different from fine art because illustrations are supposed to tell a story.
I use glossy pages from magazines, calendars and catalogs, torn and cut up.

People have no idea how long this kind of work can take and the creativity it entails, it’s not computer or software generated. Excellent work as are all the other’s I’ve seen so far.
