This print is inspired by Sam Keith’s Frazetta tribute, the Leopard Queen. While the Maxx was largely a silly book, there was something much deeper going on just beneath the surface; in the outback, as it were. This is really done in my style, but I’d love to try and emulate either of their styles here in a later version of this piece
Next I shall give her a nice Frazetta inspired color scheme
I will continue to experiment until I have a satisfactory result

I told her “vote early and vote often!”
Cats get multiple votes?!? I need to do more cat themed artwork…
Exactly…and keep in touch with Zaklina…she has 19 cats so I figure she owns the future…
They are our overlords. Or at least, the overlords of the internet which is pretty much the same thing…
Carol beat me to the punch again. Well. this is another interesting piece.
Carol hangs out with bluebirds too much, hence always tends to get the worm. Which is why I had to stop drinking tequila with her…
oh I bet she would beat you at drinking tequila too. Maybe not lol!
Not big on hard liquor, more of a beer kinda guy…
Yes you art- masters have to have your wits about yourself right?
I can work quite well after a few beers but I am useless after a few shots
For some crazy reason Alex when I saw your title then the art piece, I immediately thought of the song Jungle Love by the Steve Miller band. Anyway, great job.
Hey, if it worked for you then keep rolling with the free association. You can end up in some interesting places; that’s where I found stained glass sushi…
That is too funny, and you are right, we all need to roll with it more often. 🙂
I tend to roll with it, because it appeals to both my physics and taoist leanings, for the exact same reason; conservation of energy
