As I look back on my life, I see how it was necessary to get through the darkest hours of my life to get where I am today. The path to happiness and a contented life isn’t always a journey filled with joy. It is the reward I have received for a race well run.
That splash of red at the base of the image is very apropos, considering the theme of suffering and the abyss.
