The Temple Bar, A Irish Tavern (2014-03-10 12-40-37a)
The Temple Bar used to be located at 3001 North Ashland Avenue in Chicago, Illinois in the North Center neighborhood. It has closed down since this photo was taken.
The photo was taken using a Nikon Coolpix P7700 camera. I used Luminar 2018 to crop a bit and apply the ‘FauxHDR’ preset from the Urban collection. Then I added the Details Enhancer, Polarizing and Sharpening filters. I lowered the brightness and boosted the contrast, then used the High Key filter to lower the standard and dynamic values.

Me too. Unfortunately I never made it and it’s gone now. There are still some nice Irish pubs around but none look so interesting on the outside.
This temple bar looks good. It’s sad to know it has closed down.
