This house is located at 1623 West Estes Avenue, Chicago, Illinois in the Rogers Park neighborhood.
Back in 2003 Michael O’Reilly, an artist who owns the house, shared it with five others. When they could not come to a concensus on a color to paint the house, O’Reilly went with the leopard print design. They dubbed the house the Roger Spark Presents Wes Testes’s Faerie Castle: Asbestos-on-Estes, but most people call it the castle.
I used Macphun Luminar for Windows (beta) on RAW file using the ‘Detailed’ preset. I saved the result as a JPG file. Then I used ACDSee Ultimate 10.4 to make some minor adjustments to the lighting and to crop the image.
This was the first time I have used the Luminar program on one of my photos. I must say I was very impressed. Here‘s the link to an article I wrote about the program if you are interested:

Good thing only paint, if the real leopard skin, how much to sacrifice?
They couldn’t do this with skins. They would be violating all kinds of laws.
Aye! My friend!
What a cool and unique looking pattern!
You don’t see many of these around
Well, it is eye catching for sure. Is this why we have home owners associations? lol Love it. Be unique.
While I wouldn’t say they were common, I’m finding more and more houses like this.
My house needs painting and lately I’ve been seeing all these art painted houses. My neighbors are going to be so proud! Great photo.
