Colombo is the largest city of Sri Lanka, the industrial, commercial and cultural center of the country.
On the island of Sri Lanka there are Pinnawala, which since 1975 is concerned with elephants that are abandoned, sick or injured in their natural habitats. It is home to over 70 elephants including the young.
In this reservation, which is also an attraction for tourists, daily consumes 17 tons of food.
I wish people were more concerned about animal species threatened by biological disappearance from our planet.
