The goat lick is one of our favorite places to go visit. The cliffs above the river have minerals that the goats need to be healthy. Sometimes you go and don’t see one goat on the lick. If you venture out and walk you can typically get a glimpse of one in the area.
Other times you can go and spend hours with binoculars trying to figure out how they are manuvering around with grace on those cliffs that appear to be vertical.
I love to go see them. I never tire of it.
I grew up with goats on my parent’s ranch so even today I get all excited when I see a goat, especially a kid. Thanks for the treat.
It is a great place to view these wild goats.
