Known as the sun flower, the sunflower is the flower of the month of August. Its yellow color in the sun, fill the fields with joy and energy during the summer. As its name implies, it likes full sun, unable to survive the shade.
Sunflowers were the subject of Van Gogh’s seven painting series, of which Twelve Sunflowers in a Vase is part.
This is my second entry for Kim’s color crazy challenge, I took this picture this morning while I was taking my daily walk and this one was taller than me.
