The two castles are built almost 500 m apart.

There is a ball on the occasion of the crowning of Karol I. In the castle was born the crown heir Carroll II in 1893.

  1. Sinaia is one of the most beautiful mountain resorts in Romania, the former residence of the kings of Romania, with a rich cultural and social past. I’m glad you visited this resort. It is very close to Targoviste, the city where I live. Only 60 km!

    • Targoviste was to the west of our route … And in Bulgaria we have a town with this name 🙂 Also Predel, but there is a passage between two mountains – Rila and Pirin.
But I’m really impressed with Sinaia and Brasov!
