The reporters covering the story asked a lot of people who stayed why they did so. I heard a lot of people say that they had ridden out previous hurricanes so they figured they could ride out this one. If they want to put their own lives in danger that’s their business but, when they have to get rescued they are putting the lives of the rescuers in danger.
